Some fun in college week , SLICE 2005

Awaiting the full set of pics of the SLICE 2005, Im posting a few interesting moments of this years college week!

Though the working commitee and the students council were completely new to the idea of college week and slice, to everyones surprise the result was fabulous! They worked hard towards making Slice successful and looking at the response all the events got ,it was indeed a big success.

There were so many reasons to delay the event this year, still they dint lose hope. Whether its about collecting sponserships, publicity or the organisation they gave their best. There were a few moments when some of them were a bit depressed at the outcome of their events,But I can tell them with past few years experiences that this was one of the successful college weeks we have ever had in terms of participation, quality of the events and prizes.Im sure their best is yet to come in the Ashwamedh 2006!

It was nice to see that after so many years these guys thought of changing the set pattern of the events inspite of being completely new to the idea of college week.A special thanks to Roshani desai-FAS to introduce so many new events in fine arts and for the awesome work in making invites and posters of the slice.

The slice was also refreshing with the efforts put in by Alpesh-WPM , Shweta- RRDS and their team! This was the first time that Slice was held for a whole week.

SPICE was equally successful thanks to the sports secs trio of Abhijit ,Harsh and Vipul. With the first event of sports this year, they managed to get two goal posts for the college ground.

Harsh organised the musicals along with Amruta, Arun, Sufi, Rama and others. No prizes to guess that his was the golden voice among the participants!

Marathi lits in the form of Antarang 2005 were also held successfully.

My favourite event of Treasure Hunt was also modified this year, thanks to Mitali and Alpesh who really worked hard ,and everyone will agree that they enjoyed participating in it!

Well not to forget Miten-GS, Shareq-CS, Randhir-AS, Ramkishan-ARS For their contribution for this success.

Bye for now
